1. Introduction of Hippo Sculpture
Hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius) is one of the heaviest land animals in the world, mainly distributed in sub-Saharan Africa. They live near water bodies and like to spend most of their time in the water, but they also often move on land. Hippos are majestic in appearance, large in size, with thick and gray-brown skin, often covered with water plants and mud to help maintain body temperature and prevent sunburn. Hippos are usually social animals, living in wet environments such as rivers, lakes and swamps. This group of Hippo Lawn Sculptures consists of seven hippos in different postures, showing their diverse living conditions and natural behaviors.
The Hippo Statue for Garden is made of bronze, with a smooth luster and dark brown color, as if imitating the color of the hippo’s natural skin. Some of the hippos in the sculpture are standing, some are lying, and two of them have their mouths wide open, which looks lively and interesting. The eyes and ears of the hippo are decorated with red, and these details make the sculpture more realistic and full of vitality. Overall, the Hippo Lawn Sculpture group presents a lively and natural atmosphere, as if the hippos are resting and playing on the grass, conveying a sense of harmony and freedom.
